Becoming I-V

Each evening begins with the same pose, yet each evening is different. The audience, the air, the pressure, all feel different.

Chanson I-V

Each evening we sing the song Garçon Banal together with the audience. The moments are brief.

Masque I-IV

Each evening he puts on a mask of liquid chalk. The lines are the same, yet the delivery always changing, morphing.

Mort ou non? I-VI

After the mask is on, the question is asked : Am I dead, or am I not dead?. The conflict between him, the model, and me the artist trying to steal his image is laid bare. Each week, this conflict intensifies.
