Memorial Works brings together original portrait works by Bogdan Jensen created in remembrance of people, lives, and presences that continue beyond absence.

These works are not standard commissions or products. They are made through a careful process of looking, listening, and image-making, with attention to dignity, memory, and the emotional weight of the humaninity of the subject.

Each memorial work is approached individually, whether based on photographs, personal history, or a conversation around remembrance. The aim is not to idealise or simplify a person, but to hold their presence with seriousness, tenderness, and respect.
